The Tahquamenon Area Credit Union Has A Mission:

Our mission at the Tahquamenon Area Credit Union is to provide you, our member and friend, quality financial services. We are recognized as one of the outstanding credit unions in the state and have an established reputation for excellent service and reasonable rates. CREDIT UNIONS are organizations of PEOPLE, not money. The heart of credit union philosophy is people helping people. Members work together to build a savings base while receiving a good return on the funds saved. Members’ collective monies are used to fund loans at competitive interest rates to other members. Members assist one another in meeting financial concerns through a variety of other services.

Membership Requirements:

Or you must be a relative of a current member. To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal Law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account. What this means for you: When you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth and other information that will allow us to identify you. We will also ask to see your driver’s license or other identifying documents.

The Tahquamenon Area Credit Union charges a One Time Membership Fee of $1.00. All members are required to keep a $25.00 minimum balance in their savings (share) accounts.
